Our inaugural conference took place in Vienna, December 2010, with 40 participants from all over the world. It was hosted by Professor Dr Wolfgang Mayrhofer and his team at the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien. In line with our conference philosophy, we aim to be informed and inspired by the environment of the conference, in this instance the famed Viennese Christmas market, a tradition that goes back to medieval times; as well as the Jewish festival of lights (Hannukah). A centerpiece of the conference social events was a dramatic renacting of the saga Hildegard of Bingen, presented by Professor June Boyce-Tillman.
Our second international conference was held in Bangalore, India in January 2012, organised by Prof. Ramnath Narayanswamy and his team at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. In line with our conference philosophy, our aim was to be informed and inspired by the context in which the conference takes place (the history of Indian gurus and their relevance to management and organising took centre stage). We were privileged to meet several leading spiritual leaders who visited us at the conference including Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari (Amma Divine Mother) and Yogi Ashwini. Over 60 participants from all over the world took place in this exciting event.
